facebook

Once again Facebook is sucking me back in. I was addicted (yes, i admit it) for several months then got sidetracked by playing WOW (world of warcraft to the uninformed). I'm still playing WOW but not every day, more like every other day or every few days. But Facebook is starting to get fun again. Especially since I finally got my game requests list back under 100 (it's around 40 right now).

Their games are mind-numbing and help pass the time, but more often than not the time gets away from me way too much. You sit to play for a few minutes and then suddenly.... it's 3 hours later!!! How do they do? I must learn to tear myself away more and do more productive things. Although isn't growing crops on Farmville or cooking food in Cafeworld a totally worthwhile waste of time? Hmmmm, something for me to ponder as I play Mafia Wars.

  1. The games they offer you on facebook are ment to consume your time. But ask yourself this do you really want to play stupid, worthless, meaningless boring game that take up your time from meeeting new people or walks in the park or biking around or sharing time with loved ones, friends, or family, just think about that for a few moments.
If you play those idiotic games then you have no life, if thats what makes your day go by without a people interaction then you might need to re-examine your life choices.
I hope that you can see what it is doing to your lifestyle and how much it consumes your real world potential to expand your choices for human interaction rather then interating with a game or games that get you nowhere in life but simply trapped. Make a difference in life and explore your surroundings and become more active in human contact live free from the computer.
Dont take this as harsh as it sounds, just make a difference to yourself and open your mind to reality, people, and life.
    g:p
